A reversible air-source heat pump — also known as air conditioning — moves heat between the inside and outside of your home. In summer it moves warm indoor air out. In winter it moves warmth from the outdoor air in. Same unit, same wall, same quiet fan.
Because the system moves heat rather than generating it from fuel, it uses less electricity than a plug-in heater to keep a room warm. That is why treating it as heating — not just summer cooling — is usually the bigger benefit over the year.
Modern units are designed to keep pulling useful warmth from the outdoor air well below zero. Your room reaches temperature faster than most central-heating radiators and holds it steadily.
Each installed unit is controlled independently, so you heat or cool only the rooms you are actually using. Simple remote or app control.
