Order terms

These are the terms on the Hulubre Order Form you sign before any work starts. If anything on your signed Order Form differs from this page, the Order Form wins.

Who we are

Hulubre Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 13347884. Registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. Email hello@hulubre.com. Hulubre Ltd is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.

Price and payment

Your written quote and Order Form show the price of the goods and installation, any add-ons and delivery. No VAT is added.

Jobs up to £4,000: 50% deposit when you sign the order, and the 50% balance when installation is complete.

Jobs over £4,000: 40% deposit when you sign the order, 30% when the goods are delivered to the installation address, and the final 30% when installation is complete.

The goods become yours once the balance is received in cleared funds.

Delivery, installation and guarantee

Your Order Form gives an estimated lead time from order to installation. It is an estimate given in good faith, not a fixed date.

Installation is carried out by Hulubre or a fitter engaged by Hulubre. You agree to provide clear and safe access to the installation area and reasonable access to power.

Guarantee: the wall bed mechanism carries the manufacturer's 5-year warranty, which runs from the date the manufacturer supplies it to Hulubre. Hulubre makes and handles any claim under it on the customer's behalf. Hulubre guarantees cabinetry and installation workmanship for 12 months from the date of installation. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Hulubre is not responsible for the condition of the wall structure. If the survey or the installation shows the wall cannot safely carry the fixing, work stops and the section below on jobs that cannot go ahead applies.

Your right to cancel

Goods made to your specification: most of our wall beds and cabinets are made to the measurements and finishes you choose, for your property. Under regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the 14-day right to cancel does not apply to goods made to a consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. We will ask you to confirm this in writing on the Order Form. This does not affect your rights if the goods are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality, or if Hulubre breaks the contract.

Standard goods: where the goods are not made to your specification, you can cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. We give you a Cancellation Notice and a Model Cancellation Form with your Order Form. If you ask us in writing to start work before the 14 days end and then cancel, we may charge for what has already been supplied, in proportion to the full price.

If the job cannot go ahead

If the wall structure, access or another site condition found after the survey makes safe installation impossible, either of us may end the contract. Hulubre will refund everything you have paid, less the value of any goods already made to your specification.
