When you book a survey. We collect your contact details, address and information about the room. We use it to arrange the visit and understand what you need. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

When you contact us or ask for a quote. We collect your name, email address, phone number, property address and whatever you tell us about your home and the furniture you need. We use it to answer you, to prepare a quotation and to arrange a survey. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

When you send us photos or video of your property for a survey. We collect the images and video you upload, together with any information visible in them. We use them to understand the room, prepare for the survey and brief the fitter who will carry out the work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing the contract once you place an order.

Please do not include other people in survey photos or video if you can avoid it. If someone else appears, we will treat their image as personal data and handle it under this notice.

When you buy from us. We collect payment and order details, the fitting address, access arrangements, and records of the work carried out. Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you, and complying with our legal obligations for tax records and product traceability.

When you complain or make a warranty claim. We collect what you tell us and our record of how we handled it. Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you and our legitimate interest in defending claims.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it to anyone.

If you buy from us, we may email you about similar furniture and fitting work. You can tell us to stop at any time, using the unsubscribe link in the email or by replying to it, and we will. If you have only enquired and not bought, we will not send you marketing unless you have asked us to. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests for existing customers, and consent otherwise.

The fitter appointed to your job. We pass on your name, address, contact number, access details and the survey information they need to do the work safely and correctly. Fitters work under a written agreement with us. That agreement requires them to keep your information confidential, to use it only for your fitting work, to keep it secure and to delete it when they no longer need it.

Fitters may keep records of the work they carry out where the law or their insurance requires it. They are responsible for those records in their own right.

Our equipment supplier, where a delivery is made direct to your property. They receive the delivery address and the fitter's details. They do not receive your survey media.

Our professional advisers, insurers and payment providers, where necessary.

Anyone we are legally required to share it with, including HMRC.

We do not transfer your personal information outside the UK.

We keep your information on access-controlled business systems, we limit who can see it to the people who need it for your fitting work, and we require the same of the fitter appointed to your job. If something does go wrong and your information is at risk, we will tell you where we are required to.

Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for 12 months, then deleted.

Order and fitting records are kept for 11 years from completion. This is longer than we would otherwise keep them and it is deliberate: it is the period our product liability insurer requires so that any future claim about furniture we supplied can be properly investigated.

Survey photographs and video are kept for 6 years from completion, or for 12 months if your enquiry does not become an order.

Accounting records are kept for 6 years after the end of the accounting period, as required by law.

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to have information deleted where we no longer need it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds to continue. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and that does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

This site sets one cookie, a technical identifier used to serve you the correct version of the site. It does not identify you, it is not used for advertising, and it is not shared with anyone. Because it is strictly necessary for the site to work, we do not need to ask your permission for it.

We do not use analytics cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell your information. If we add analytics in future we will ask for your consent first and update this notice before we do.
